AMERICAN SOCIETY FOR DEAF CHILDREN

I was fortunate to be inspired by a close friend who communicates using sign language which gave me the idea of creating this frame-by-frame animation for American Society for Deaf Children. Sign language is something I have always been interested in, meeting this dear friend allowed me to learn how to speak through gestures that were louder than words. I want this piece to not only show that we can build meaningful relationships with someone living with alternative circumstances but also to express the importance on sign language education for any parents who have children suffering from hearing loss. This piece is a gift to my dear friend for sharing all those afternoons teaching me another way to communicate with others.
